Phil DunlopPhillip passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020 in Kalamazoo. He was born February 10, 1926 in Grand Rapids, MI to Earle and Rosa (Brace) Dunlop. He grew up working alongside his father on the Dunlop Orchard on Pine Lake and took the business over in the early 60’s when his father retired. Phillip was a lifelong member of the Horticulturist Society and always attended the yearly show in Grand Rapids. He loved spending time on the lake and was known for giving thrill rides on his golf cart going over the hill. He faithfully attended church and loved his family.

On May 1, 1945 at the Plainwell Baptist Church he married Jacqueline J. Johnson and they enjoyed 67 years of marriage. Jackie preceded him in death in 2012. On January 1, 2013 he wed Lucy (Henry) Hulbert who survives.

Also surviving are his daughters, Patricia Flanders of Grand Rapids, Phyllis (Gary) Rogers of Otsego and Rose (Jerry) Robart of Plainwell; grandchildren, Wendie Honeysett, Matt Rogers, Rachel Flickinger, Renee Compston, Cara Kuipers, Brandon Robart and Luke Robart; 14 great-grandchildren; many extended family members and special friend, Mark Sherman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jackie, two sons-in-law, Steven Spencer and Verl Flanders and brothers, David and Paul.
